As quoted from Aphy on May 9, 2008, 12:32pm
Point Distributions:

Points in this linkshell are given on a basis of attendance and not so much events. If you attend you will get points. Here is the basic point breakdown:

HNM’s

  • HNM: 5 points (claim and kill)
  • KING: 10 points (claim and kill)
If we camp and don’t claim that is 3 points for all windows. If you cannot make it for all windows then the points are split between the 7 windows.
Dynamis 10
Limbus 15
Sky Each God kill is 5 points, Kirin is 10. Every hour of farming in sky is 2 points.

Points can be awarded for special things like putting out an excessive amount of effort for something and points can be taken away if the leaders feel like you are not meeting your full potential. If you feel you deserved points for something please let me know and I can fix it. Also if your attendance level falls below 20% you will NOT be able to lot on any items until your participation is brought up. If you are unable to make it to an event because of Real life that's understandable. Let a leader know ahead of time. If you are not at the event site by the time we start, you will not enter. There is a 60 minute gather so please gather in that time.

Lotting Using Points:
Basically everyone collects points and it’s all thrown into a big pool to lot with and bid with. For instance, Tom has camped and killed Fafnir which gets him 5 points, then attends Dynamis and gets him another 10 points, however, Summoner AF drops and he is like ZOMG SMN AF!!!! And losts 3 points for it. Now say Jewel sees summoner af drop and Jewel has attended dynamis a week ago and had 10 points and goes NO WAI SMN AF! HAWTZ! And wants to lot too. After Tom goes in chat for 3 points, next Jewel will go 5 if she wants it. She does it and goes 5. If Tom wants it (and he wants it badly!) he will go 11 in. Since Jewel doesn’t have 11 points she passes. That’s when Tom gets the af for 11 points. Congratulations to Tom. This would bring Tom's points down to 4 from 15. Now if for instance Aphina decided to camp Tiamat and kill and ZOMG Herald’s Gaiters drop NO WAI! Aphina has 400 points and Tom now has 700 points, both want these boots which are 500 points. Since this is a rare drop and hard to get, the starting lot for Herald’s Gaiters is 500 points and the leader in charge then decides who would best have use for these boots. The leader in charge will look at points and jobs of the players who want the boots. Tom has more points, but Aphina has a job to wear them, then Aphina will get the boots and fall into the negatives. This should be the only time someone falls into the negatives.
I know it seems like its a lot of points but if you think about it, its really not. Points in this shell can be earned very easy and spend very quickly. It all depends on what you want to invest your time and energy in for the linkshell. If you have any further questions on how points work or how much something is worth, let me know on here or in game.

Dynamis Lotting Rules:
During Dynamis due to the level and rarity of these items things are slightly different that usual with lotting but bidding is still under Auction House method as stated in the previous post.

1) You must be able to equip the item

2) If all those that can equip the item have it then all those leveling it to 75 are allowed to bid once a sac/leader says "open to freelot"

3)In Xarcabard, due to the added rarity and the stats on some items like RDM, PLD, THF, etc.; only those that come to Linkshell events as that job most frequently will be allowed to lot until all have then rule 1 applies then rule 2. So for instance, one of the earliest Duelist Chapeau's isn't going to go some RDM that shows up once every 1 month but to the 75 that comes on it every event or every other event first since it'll benefit the Linkshell as a whole more overall but once all of those 75s have it then it'll become more "freelot".

Dynamis Dreamworld drops:
1) For -1 items, the priority goes to making a +1. So if Valor Surcoat -1 drops, the people only allowed to lot are those that have the normal Valor Surcoat. If no one has the NQ or those that have NQ are HQ now, then it will go to those that are 75 PLD without Valor Surcoat and then those that are leveling PLD and so forth. If this situation occurs where someone gets the HQ before the NQ then the next time the NQ drops the person with the HQ would get priority.
So to summarize:
Have NQ -> Chance to get HQ
No one has NQ -> Chance to lot HQ like NQ -> When NQ falls get priority

2) For accessories, lotting rules for accessories will go as normal items in Dynamis, which is, have that job 70+(since all accessories are 70), then those actively leveling, etc.

Note: No these rules are not just randomly added but previously, these were just verbal and needed to be formalized for people that attend the site and Linkshell members.
